    Maaori Historical Hiikoi
    A hiikoi (tour) filled with historical and contemporary koorero of our whenua, awa, moana, whaanau, tuupuna and papakaainga.

    We touch on stories about the first landings to this area, traditional gardening techniques and technology, the injustices endured and ahi kaa stories.

    Explore the senses and feel, taste and touch different rongoaa grown and harvested here in Ihumaatao while learning their different healing properties.
